Hello
I will be taking the AFM exam in December I was just wondering about how important it is for me to go through MA? It’s been a few years since I’ve been out of uni working full time as an assistant accountant so my knowledge of my uni stuff (exams that gave me ACCA exemptions) is kind of non existent/very rough.
I was wondering if it’s possible to pass AFM by only studying FM and AFM?
Very little of Paper MA is of any relevance to Paper AFM because MA is mainly management accounting as opposed to financial management.
As a result you only need study FM and AFM (but ignore the management of working capital chapters when studying Paper FM – they are not asked in AFM).
