Hi,
I have a question relating to the disposal of assiciate.
For example, The parent has an investment in associate of $100 at cost. After the year using equity method, the investment in associate on SOFP now is $120. Then the parent sell the share in associate for $150.
So when calculating the gain on disposal, it will be $150-$120 or $150-$100(cost of investment)?
