Hi,
I saw this one question in BPP workbook for Sep20 – Jun21 exams:
“Which is the body responsible for reviewing new financial reporting issues and issuing guidance on the application of IFRS?”
From previous text I read in the book, I thought the answer would be “IFRS Interpretation Committee”, but then in the answer part of BPP book, it said “IFRS Advisory Council”.
I’m a little confused. Could you help explain on this please?
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
it is a bit of trick question as the answer is correct. You can see the specific role of the IFRS Interpretations Committee here – https://www.iasplus.com/en/resources/ifrsf
Thanks
