May 9, 2020 at 10:08 am #570391Can you make an offer to the world at large? That was the question
Not before Carlill case but Courts said ‘Yes’ in a ‘reward’ situation
Other defences claimed by Carbolic included:
– no consideration moving from Carlill
– no notification of acceptance by Carlill
– no intention by Carbolic to create legal relations
– time period for claimantsBetter?

How about this DONOGHUE v STEVENSON (1932) case?
I just want to comprehend about this 2 case, because it is important, the question also same as above only different case, TQMay 11, 2020 at 9:05 pm #570576Is it possible to take action against a party not directly involved in a transaction?
Where that party is a manufacturer, that party owes a duty of care to those people who will be using / consuming those goods made by the manufacturer
Is that better?
