I’m a new acca student this year. i received a mail that informs me a payble of annual subscription fee in 23 May.
i heard that new member didn’t need to pay annual subscription fee the very year he registered, and that ture for one of my acquaintances who registered in 2010.
so i wonder whether the rlue exist or not.
if there is the rlue, where i can finde it
thanks for your help!May 27, 2012 at 7:35 am #98073i have also and I am not happy about it. I have two screenshots from the acca website where it states that we are not due to pay this fee.
i have already started a complaint with them and will let you know how it goes
please do the same if you are already in contact with themMay 31, 2012 at 11:33 am #98075i mailed to students@accaglobal.com to show this problem a week ago. i only received a Auto-Acknowledgement that said they would respond in 5 working days , and 5 working days has past. and i telephoned them , a woman said this information that newly registered students are not due to pay annual fee is not correct.
the empression of acca is fading
@whitedogJune 6, 2012 at 5:52 pm #98076acca are not being very co-operative so I have forwarded the matter to Advertising Standards Association as the ACCA website is clearly misleading.
i suggest every one else who has been charged this undocumented fee do the same. there is strength in numbers.whitedog

This is the response i got:
“Thank you for your e mail.
I apologise for the misunderstanding this text has led to.
As you have access to the two exam sessions in 2012 you are required to pay the annual subscription fee.
I understand this text leads you to think otherwise.
While I understand this is no assistance to you we are having this screen updated to avoid future issues.”

I registered in Feb 2011 and my first exam session was Dec 2011.
My first annual subscription was due on 1 Jan 2012. - AuthorPosts
