Dear Chris,
Would you have any recommendations in regards to which option, INT or UK, to opt for?
I live in London and have been working as a management account for a wile, with no plan to change the field. My local survey suggests that majority of the UK based students opt for the INT opinion – this has puzzled me. Please advise.
Many thanks
Olga
Hi Olga,
I’d study SBR based upon what you studied F7 under. So if you used IFRSs then stick with the INT variant of SBR. The reason why UK based students opt for this option is because if they are working for a large listed company then the accounts will be prepared under IFRS, and also studying under IFRS gives the potential to take your knowledge and work overseas using it.
Thanks
Thank you very much Chris.
Makes sense.
Kind regards
