I use the sharp financial calculator which I have mastered well since doing my Bachelors degree.
I find that when I use it to calculate IRR, PV, NPV, AMORTIZATION I never get the exact answer due to rounding. e.g when answer is 8.3 I get 8.1. With M.C.Q I will probably pick the nearest answer however I am worried with fill-in-gap questions. Do I get it wrong and no marks at all?
The questions will be clear if rounding is required, plus try to leave the number in the calculator as you do your calculations to minimise the risk of rounding errors.
