    Q1 Scenario was about an electronic car company, EcoCar
    a) analyse the macro environment and the marketplace (PESTEL and Porter’s 5CF’s)
    b) evaluate the decision to outsource a product line called EcoLite (cheap town car)
    c) how EcoCar can manage the 3 weaknesses given (1. dont remember 2. knowledge and succession planning 3.understanding risk)

    a) problems of the handling process (swimlane diagram)
    b) i can’t remember

    Q4
    a) I’s of e-marketing specifically asking about independence of location, interactivity, individualisation, intelligence
    b) e-procurement

    outsourcing 1 product –evaluate using financial and non-financial
    lack of control and coordination , risk and R&D successive —dow to deal with it
    q2: NPV, IRR, DISOUCT rate , payback , tangible and intangible , evaluate
    cannot recall

    q4: 6i (4 of them how to use)

    the swimlane diagram too small, all the arrows intertwined. i can’t even see clearly the direction of the arrows.

    @ funshine99… i dont think ull lose 10 marks fr dis…as only 4 professional marks were in place for identifying relevant model(s)…..
    Plus i think the examiner played a trick here….d question meant only to b analysed using PESTEL cus in PESTEL u discuss marketplace aspects also in all d relevent factors…..
    had dere been required more dan two models…he would have clearly written MODELS instead of model(s)……
    n wt else do u xpect from a 16 mark qustion….PESTEL analysis z way too long fr 16 marks……

    yes diamond rule is relevant only fr competencies of nations……not fr dis scenario……

    oh, i did question one in the last. so i only got 1hour to do no time thinking ,couldnot think about anything

    In Q 1 I think the examiner ideally wanted PESTEL and 5 Forces but any relevant models could score well if applied well. PESTEL on it’s own would not be ideal as it only deals with macro environmental analysis, not industry specific which was also asked for.
