Hi tutor,
May I know is it convenient to refer to the link below and explain on the example 6 why the 3m gain reported in OCI is add back when calculate the gain or loss on disposal of controlling interest

Hi,
Yes, the gain that is held in OCI needs to be reclassified through profit or loss on disposal of the subsidiary as it has now been realised, so it is therefore added to the profit on disposal figure.
