Greetings,
The Study Text and Revision Kit for Paper FR for Year 2018-2019 is not available in my country. As I have already been late and could not attempt September’2018 sitting. Kindly, suggest me, can I prepare for December’2018 sitting, with the Study Text and Revision Kit of Paper F7 for year 2017-2018.
Thank you
September 4, 2018 at 10:56 am #471263I was supposed to sit Financial Reporting in June but I could not attend the examination, thus I am sitting for it on Thursday.
I did buy the revised BPP kit for 2018-2019 sittings and the only changes they made are relocating the questions in different pages and sections. It’s literally the same book with the same exercises (maybe they added 1-2 MCQ – couldn’t see the difference).
The only difference is that some MCQs might have the drop-down icon for you to select an answer, which again does not change anything – you still circle it.
These apply to the BPP Revision kit – I don’t know what changes they made to the Kaplan one as I have never used Kaplan for revision.
I hope this helps.

I don’t think I can add anything more to the answer above. There have been no changes in the syllabus so the technical content is the same and the exam format is still the same. Thanks for saving me the time having to answer it!
