    Hello.
I was asking if you can be asked to prepare a CSOFP,CSOPL,CSOCF in the SBR exam as a question…since the 1st question has been divided to 30mrks and 20marks
    Thanks

    Hi,

No, you will no longer be asked to prepare the full consolidated financial statement. You will be expected to prepare extracts and explain the accounting treatment. Have a look at the specimen paper to get a feel of the new style question paper.

    Thanks

I had to ask because in the SBR revision kit from questions 12 to16 they are requring us to prepare the consolidated financial statements.I guess they are asking us to prepare so as to refresh our knowledge about the cons financial statements?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Yes, it is still good practice to do some work around the full consolidation to see how it all fits together.

    Thanks
