    Dear Sr,

I would like to know the goodwill calculation in the complex group structure.

In above case, I have known “The NCI’s share of the cost of the investment in the sub-subsidiary must be eliminated from the NCI calculation.”

Why must eliminate the NCI’s share of the cost of the investment in the sub-subsidiary?

Please, could you explain me about that?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Have you watched the video? The reasoning behind this calculation is explained there. If you’re still confused after watching it and working the questions then please just come back and ask.

    Thanks

Please do and if you are still stuck then give me a shout. It is a tricky calculation to understand so don’t worry if you do not get it straight away.

    Thanks
