what ethics (or was it principles) of PROFESSIONALISM was the question referring to ?
it wasnt objectivity, integrity, confidentiality because those are fundamental ethical principles in ACCA code of ethics. this question was asking for principles of PROFESSIONALISM i got confused and effed up the question.
i think it was indeed those principles that you have mentioned that should be used.
“Behind a professional code of ethics, there are underpinning principles, the main ones being:
• integrity
• objectivity
• professional competence
• confidentiality, and
• professional behaviour “
The above quote was what was give in the text book.
in the senario we were give i think, it was intergrity and objectivity that was obvious reason for him to report the incident.
