    what ethics (or was it principles) of PROFESSIONALISM was the question referring to ?

    it wasnt objectivity,integrity,confidentiality because those are fundamental ethical principles in ACCA code of ethics. this question was asking for principles of PROFESSIONALISM i got confused and effed up the question.

    i think it was indeed those principles that you have mentioned that should be used.

    “Behind a professional code of ethics, there are underpinning principles, the main ones being:

    • integrity
    • objectivity
    • professional competence
    • confidentiality, and
    • professional behaviour “

    The above quote was what was give in the text book.

    in the senario we were give i think, it was intergrity and objectivity that was obvious reason for him to report the incident.
