    Hi sir,

I still don’t understand why we subtract NCI% x cost of S’s investment in SS? what does it mean?

    Thanks

    Hi sir,

Sorry for bothering you, I’ve understood this issue because we must subtract cost of investment from NCI% of Parent company out of total NCI’s benefit. Is it right?

    Regards.

    Hi,

It sounds in the right area but as I mention in the video, when calculating the NCI in S we only want the NCI in S and nothing to do with SS, hence we deduct the NCI% of the investment in SS as it does not relate to S.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks

Vertical groups are not in the syllabus. They haven’t been in the syllabus for 3 years.
