Sir in this example you have allocated the remaining $3100 to buildings directly as nothing was mentioned for anything else further. But cant we also allocate this remaining 3100 to plant and equipment as well on a pro rata basis, I mean to the remaining plant and equipment worth 4000.
I mean like for the whole of buildings nothing is mentioned regarding the remaining 4000 of plant. And so wudnt it be wrong to allocate all the remaining amount to buildings?
Hi,
We have already allocated the impairment to the plant and equipment, as we were told its value. We then have to assume, as we are not told otherwise that the rest of the plant and equipment is fine and therefore not impaired.
Thanks
Alright.
Thank you
