In my BPP book, which is titled Corporate Reporting (International and United Kingdom), on page viii, it states that up to 20 marks will be for comparisons between International and UK GAAP and says that an online supplement will be available at http://www.bpp.com/learning-media covering the additional UK issues.

I can find no such supplement.

I was wondering if I should choose the International variant, as I’m concerned that I do not have sufficient study material to compare and contrast IFRS for SMEs and UK GAAP per section C 11 of the syllabus guide.

Can you point me in the direction of any materials which directly address this syllabus topic?

    Thanks

    EDIT:

I have now been e-mailed the link from BPP for the supplement, this can be found at:

    https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/bppassets/public/assets/pdf/about/students/acca/ACCA_P2_Study_Supplement_February_2017.pdf

Looks like a lot of extra work for passing the same exam!! However I think I will go with the UK version anyway as it is very topical and relevant to be aware of the differences.

Glad you’ve found it but don’t worry about the differences too much as the UK standards are very similar now, hence there are relatively few differences. It should then be a relatively straightforward 20 marks.

    Thanks
