Hi Respected Teacher,
First of all I would like to take out some time to say some words for you which you truly deserve.
I was really impressed to watch these lectures, you are of the teachers who really know how to put things across. You write really neat which makes the message rather effective.
You are indeed a great Teacher!
So thanks to you and open tuition! Then, I would like you to help me with understanding two of the recent technical articles about ‘Capital’ which almost look the same. I was wondering other than the bits and pieces about capital being undefined and open to manipulation, what else is being said with respect to a student on P2 level and what areas of P2 does it highlight? (like may be ratio analysis)
Looking forward to your response,
Thanks.February 27, 2017 at 5:10 pm #374595Hi,
Thank you so much for your very kind comments and I hope that the lectures help you get the success your working towards.
I think the articles cover everything that you would need in the exam, especially given that they’re written by the P2 examining team. Primarily it is a framework/financial instruments issue that would need to be resolved and as you also mention, it would impact ratios where equity/capital is a key driver, e.g. gearing and ROCE.
Keep up the hard work and good luck with the exams.
Thanks
