Hello !
I would like to know if there are notes and lectures available for insolvency law here or will i have to cover it myself ?There are no lectures on insolvency law but the course notes are up-to-date and are fuller than the course notes for which there are lectures
And, of course, you can post any questions on this page and I shall get back to you
Actually, I have one more question. Its the 1st mtq in the specimen cbe. Az ltd were building a ship for Bob for 7 million. He decided not to buy it. Az ltd had already spent 5 million on the ship and immediately started an action on Bob. However, a week before the case decision Az sold it for the amount of money they would have gotten from Bob. What level of damages can Az claim for breach of contract.
The answer is 0. I just don’t get why that is.How much has AZ lost?
There is a duty to mitigate the loss where a party is potentially going to suffer from a breach of contract
Here AZ has mitigated so there is no loss
So how much damages can AZ ask for?

Ok. If they sold it for say 6 million. Could they make a claim for 1 million from Bob ?
