    Dear Ahmed, Thanks for that quick notice on the new RAP guide especially the increase in the number of word count. We appreciate your support and efforts.

    Thanks

    Hi Ahmed, I choose topic 6 for my RAP. Under part two, I categorized my model (theories) under process and content theories by applying three of such theories under each. Could you please advise if it is okay or I need to further add on with some more theories.

    Thanks

    @fausthel

    It depends on which theories you have applied and please clarify your question in detail, i am unable to understand.

    Thank You.

    I mean I chose the project topic 6 – a critical review of key factors or indicators in the motivation of employees. And under Part two – accounting and business technique section, I tried to use some motivational theories. However, base on my understanding of these theories, I classified them under content and process theories, using three under each categories. I want to know if that is ok.

    Thanks

    @fausthel

    Yes it is fine, classification is never an issue but your report must be divided in to three section:

    1. Introduction
    2. Research and findings
    3. Conclusion

    Under these three headings you can have several sub sections according to relevancy.

    Thank You.

    @Hammad

    I am a little confused on how to take account of in-text citations in word count. Say, …..(Smith, 2011) is my in-text citation.
    Does this lead to a word count of 2 or 1?
    The reason I’m asking is, somewhere in the BPP Project guide or so, I had found that each individual in-text citation counts for 1 word only.

    Yes, you are right that will be 2 words not 1.

    Thank You.

    I don’t know what do you mean by questionnaire analysis. However, questionnaires can only be made for primary information that you have directly obtain from an authority.

    Please explain your question.

    Thank You.

    What I mean is that, I chose topic 6, on employee motivation and for that matter I administered some questionnaires. In the 3 rd part of my research work – Results, analysis, conclusions and recommendation, as I include the analysis of my questionnaires findings, and in order to stay within the required word count, can I then include the various tables with the research responses as part of the appendices or I still have to include them in the RAP and count them all.

    Thanks

    I have a few questions, How many refernces required in porter five forces analysis?? I have only made two refernces…is thaat enough?? other than two forces i have written abot the other three by myself is that fine?
    Secondly, Are we supposed to name the files as rap sls etc or is it not necessary??
    Third Question, in presentation slides are we supposed to write sentences like we wrote in rap or just simply make 3 to 4 words points in porters five forces or swot
    Fourth question, Appendices of I/S and B/S in pdf format is not that clear( i mean the snap is a bit blur..and i think it can not be improved further)….is this going to work??

    There are no minimum or maximum limits for word count. However, you are required to refer everything you state that is not part of your knowledge or work. However, 2 references are few for whole model. You can not add anything by yourself as you need to justify the points for which you need references from either annual report or external sources.

    Secondly, Are we supposed to name the files as rap sls etc or is it not necessary??

    You should clearly name them as:
    – Research Report
    – SLS
    – Appendices
    – References
    – Presentation

    Third Question, in presentation slides are we supposed to write sentences like we wrote in rap or just simply make 3 to 4 words points in porters five forces or swot

    You need to present the research findings through presentation in 15 minutes. So, long texts are not recommended. Your slides must be <20 and make bullets of SWOT and Porter for presentation but for ratios present just graph and brief definition.

    Fourth question, Appendices of I/S and B/S in pdf format is not that clear( i mean the snap is a bit blur..and i think it can not be improved further)….is this going to work??

    It must be readable not blur, Please ensure that.

    Thank You.

    Thanks!!
    One more important question is regarding words inside graph that are not counted by MS word…will they be included in there or not…cause my words exceed if i add those words….without those its within limits

    @M.

    Yes they will be, but give a spread of 100 words so that if they count them then your limit will not be exceeded.

    Thank You.
