i just want to know how much i need to write in answering f4 questions so i can gain most of the marks.
is all points of law should be supported by some case or examples. i saw answers of past paper questions by examiner on acca website these answer are very largeMarch 12, 2013 at 7:38 pm #119735and, because they are so long ( large? ) they are in no way representative of what you can be expected to achieve.
So….forget about trying to get anywhere close to that length.
Instead, ask yourself “How much can I write in 13 minutes?” ( remember, you’ve spent 5 minutes planning what you’re going to write! )
Ok, 13 minutes. 10 marks. 10 points, 13 minutes? 10 points? So how much are you going to write to score one point? How much can you write in 1.3 minutes? One minute 18 seconds? Try it.
I suggest no more that 2.5 lines per point. Maximum of two ( short ) sentences
Now ask me again …. how much should I write to score maximum marks in F4?

and now i am asking again …………..how much should I write to score maximum marks in F4?March 13, 2013 at 5:15 pm #119771As much as you can in short sharp sentences …. making 10 different, relevant, markable points ….. in no more than 13 minutes ……having spent 5 minutes planning what you’re going to write.
How can I possibly answer your question? If you’re a slow writer – say one word per minute – then you need to be writing 13 words.
If however you write a lot faster, say 60 words a minute, then you need to be writing 780 words.
Hope that’s helpful!
