i just want to know how much i need to write in answering f4 questions so i can gain most of the marks.
is all points of law should be supported by some case or examples. i saw answers of past paper questions by examiner on acca website these answer are very large
and, because they are so long ( large? ) they are in no way representative of what you can be expected to achieve.
So….forget about trying to get anywhere close to that length.
Instead, ask yourself “How much can I write in 13 minutes?” ( remember, you’ve spent 5 minutes planning what you’re going to write! )
Ok, 13 minutes. 10 marks. 10 points, 13 minutes? 10 points? So how much are you going to write to score one point? How much can you write in 1.3 minutes? One minute 18 seconds? Try it.
I suggest no more that 2.5 lines per point. Maximum of two ( short ) sentences
Now ask me again …. how much should I write to score maximum marks in F4?
ok now i understand thank u sir
and now i am asking again …………..how much should I write to score maximum marks in F4?
As much as you can in short sharp sentences …. making 10 different, relevant, markable points ….. in no more than 13 minutes ……having spent 5 minutes planning what you’re going to write.
How can I possibly answer your question? If you’re a slow writer – say one word per minute – then you need to be writing 13 words.
If however you write a lot faster, say 60 words a minute, then you need to be writing 780 words.
Hope that’s helpful!
yes very helpful
