Apologies if this is a bit of simple question. I’m struggling to get into the P5 mindset a little bit.
When i read scenario i feel as though i understand it and i could make some good observations etc. When i read the requirement it will say assess the impact of XYZ on performance management.
The “performance management” bit throws me a little bit and i struggle to understand what i need to write down. I have plenty of observations about the scenario but i feel as though i’m shoehorning them into my answer.
Have you got any advice on how to approach these kind of questions? What kind of things i should be looking out for etc.
1 What is meamt by good performance. Is it profit, quality, patients cured etc. Performance depends on what the organisation’s purpose is.
2 Find ways of measuring performamce and the factors on which performance depends.
3 Present the data in a meaningful way so that managers can interpret it.
4 Mamage performance by improving what needs to be improved.
5 Repeat 2, 3, 4
