Hi how do you calculate the increment in reserve for the SOFP. many thanks!
If you are meaning the amount transferred to reserves each year, then the workings are shown in the first part of the answer.
As always in financial accounts, it is the profit after tax less the dividends i.e. the amount retained each year.
