This topic doesn’t directly relate to any study material
Well after my high school I got a job as asst. accountant (full time) and worked there, for about 1 year…however i hated the experience and dint like the work lifestyle(waking up every morning, doing cliche’d work , like entering daily sales and purchase) keep in mind i din’t have a well disciplined life..
But at the same time i loved to solve financial and managerial accounting problem..
So would i make a good auditor??
The answer might be a non brainer…but would really help me getting a third perspective….thanks in advance 🙂
To be a good auditor, things like sales & purchase ledgers need to be second nature to you because after all, that’s the sort of things you’ll be auditing and the best way to get to know them inside-out is to do the job. So if you hated doing that role, you might find auditing the same things even less interesting.
I know where you’re coming from though because I enjoy the problem solving aspect in my job as well but unfortunately, all the nitty-gritty boring stuff needs to be done as well.
