Sir, May I know the whistle-blowing policy will normally include what contents?? Why it is needed and how will it help the company to prevent fraud and error? Who impose whistle blowing policy? is it the audit committee?

    THANKS YOU SO MUCH

In UK law, whistle-blowers are given legal protection provided the matter is one of a number (eg reporting fraud and error, or reporting on dangerous behaviour) and the disclosures are made in the right way ie you do no immediately go to the press but try internal mechanisms first. Any disclosures must be made in good faith, believing them to be true.

A whistle-blowing policy will explain to employees when and how/to whom they should whistle-blow. Obviously, it will combat fraud as employees are aware others can report them safely.

Thanks sir I gt it. But I still have some doubts regarding to the whistle-blowers are required to report to who? is it the audit committee or the board of directors?
The whistle-blowing policy’s content usually will be set by who?

    Board will set it.

Usually there are a number of stages for reporting. However, you would be ok if you said audit committee.
