hi i have attempted p1 and f9 this session , so i was thinking of studying p2 and p3 but looking at the exam’s comment sections both were disaster for most so should i choose just p2 this time ? i know that its syllabus is huge but still p2 and p3 combination will be manageable ?

If really want to do 2 papers next sitting it would be P2 and P7 as thats where most of the overlap will be.

Combing P2 with something else might not be as wise.

I did P1 and P2 together. It’s definitiely doable, I passed both, however it was an incredibly stressful sitting due to the P2 study.

Could you take advantage of the new sittings and stagger the exams? Give yourself a few months for just P2.

As latoyah said. Best fit for P2 is P7 as you need to know the standards for both. In P2 you will be expecting to calculate using the standards and P7 you will need to know that the calculations you are auditing have correctly used the standards.

The other good fit if you want to do two exams is P3 and P5 – but don’t get me started on the P5 examiner!

It is possible to do P2 and P3 together. In my case I did P2, P3 and P7 together.

Something to note though. If you choose to do P2 and P7, you will still have to pay for P3 as per ACCA rules, exams must be completed in a section before or at teh same time as attempting an exam from a different section. The compulsory P-level is treated as a different section from the optional P-level.
