I am doing full time job and planning to attempt my last 2 papers on self study basis. Kindly guide me which papers to choose from optional and which text books to use. I have cleared most of the papers on self study basis using kaplan study text.

plz help me out in deciding what to do. I am good at computing, numbers crunching and calculations etc. As i am not native english so i will struggle in delivering convincingly my view point during exam hours. If examiner is looking for sophisticated and professional english in a very structured way i will definitely struggle.

so guide me which papers to choose P4, P5, P6 or P7 ?

    Thanks

    I can’t speak for P4, P5 nor P6

But here I am with P7!

Very few numbers involved here – there are some – principally to calculate materiality or percentage change from year to year.

Question 1 invariably requires analysis and an email reply to a partner (or a report, memo, draft press release – that sort of thing)

There’s a lot of P2 in the P7 paper – auditing matters that are the subject of IAS or IFRS. This December sees the introduction of IAS 41 Agriculture into the syllabus so make sure that you are on top of that – it’s certainly going to be one of my guesses for the December exam.

Another tip for the December exam is “integrated reporting” – there’s a chapter in the free course notes on this site

But, if you’re struggling with your language skills, then maybe two of the other three may suit you better

May I suggest that you post your question on the P4, P5 and P6 forums to see what others think?
