October 10, 2013 at 6:00 am #142460Emilewoolf- its in between BPP and Kaplan October 10, 2013 at 8:24 am #142477October 11, 2013 at 10:49 am #142544Hi fellows.. It´s my first exam with ACCA and I´m wondering if it is sufficient to go through the Open Tuition Lecture Notes incl. Videos or do I need some back up documents like the papers you mentioned. I´ve already finished my BSc and MSc studies and wanna focus more on international accounting now, so I should have a bit of background knowledge already ;). Thx

MikeOctober 11, 2013 at 12:59 pm #142548Mike – you need to practice as many past questions as possible, so you need to buy BPP or Kaplan Revision Kit October 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm #142549or at the very least, get past F9 questions from acca site October 12, 2013 at 11:54 am #142600alright, as soon as I´m through with the lectures I´ll focus on former exam questions.. Thanks! October 12, 2013 at 3:46 pm #142612Anonymous Inactive- Topics: 0

Becker is too good for study, but do kit of BPP must. October 22, 2013 at 7:39 pm #143407October 23, 2013 at 3:32 pm #143463I’ve seen BPP and Kaplan, and I would pick Kaplan for F9. I loved LSBF for F5 but didnt get exposed to F9 LSBF but I suppose it could still work for F9 if you saw it. October 23, 2013 at 5:05 pm #143468@bilalkhan007 which one is becker October 23, 2013 at 6:37 pm #143476Becker has got latest information and i think its good and comprehensive for F9 October 24, 2013 at 6:01 am #143515Kaplan : If you need to just brush up your previous knowledge and go faster BPP : If you are a beginner October 24, 2013 at 8:05 pm #143608Does anybody know if the F9 syllabus is the same as it was in 2012? I am asking coz i have the 2012 books of kaplan for f9. October 25, 2013 at 7:03 am #143633Hi,
you can check syllabus from here: https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey/qual-resource/acca-qualification/f9/syllabus-study-guide.html
It has some additions and deletions, but I think they are not huge.November 4, 2013 at 2:18 pm #144526Anonymous Inactive- Topics: 0

Kaplan December 4, 2013 at 3:15 pm #150205I used BPP, but it’s impossible to recommend this one in preference to another, as I didn’t see any other text books. December 8, 2013 at 9:55 pm #151724BPP is very detailed which helps when extra reading is needed for any topic clarification.
Kaplan text is very compact. It’s more like class notes rather than text but I think it’s enough to prepare for the exam.December 9, 2013 at 2:35 pm #151800Emile woolf is the best. December 9, 2013 at 4:33 pm #151826All in all it comes down to practice questions, and Revision KIT which BPP has very good! So definitely Open Tuition F9 😉 and BPP revision KIT. June 24, 2014 at 5:09 pm #177598I think BPP text books are in very detailed for both self-study and with lecturers. It is easy to understand and has many examples in case you are not clear about the topic.
