Guys i tell you truth, in my opinion everyone spend money on bpp, kaplan but eventually back to opentuition to read notes and listen lecture which are succinct and accurate . maybe iam overestimate a bit but probably in mostly cases its truth :d
October 13, 2013 at 4:02 pm #142679why on earth is “emile woolf” not in the poll list? Emile Woolf are the best books one can ever read and I’m suprised OT has not included such a popular brand on their list. Something so crappy like ATC is included and not Emile Woolf? Suprising!
October 13, 2013 at 4:02 pm #142680Authorized publishers are not always the best! Emile woolf is not authorized but still has experience for over 30 years!
October 13, 2013 at 6:26 pm #142702There is only one criteria; ACCA approved study text (otherwise the list would go on..
Initially, really, the poll was going to be about Kaplan and BPP ONLY as those 2 are what matters.. not many people heard of GTG or Becker…..Can’t see why OT should advertise others.. but in the end it is settled for ACCA approved study text
You can leave comments – like you just did about Woolf.
and by the way., it is only 3 years ago they bought a company who happened to publish ACCA study texts, so dont talk about 30 years in ACCA publishing 🙂October 13, 2013 at 7:11 pm #142705Oh! I didn’t know. Which company did they buy over? What was the name of that company?
Personally, I think BPP is a scam. Their books are just rubbish and nothing else with useless ‘exam focus points’ and irrelevant and irritating grey boxes and up inaccurate highlighted words.

Kaplan books riddled with errors
October 25, 2013 at 12:25 pm #143660ddavis89 you mentioned that Kaplan books are riddled with errors, but fell short of mentioning the kind of errors they contain and the level of impact such errors might have on individuals studying them. Could you comment on this further?

BBP IS OK
December 3, 2013 at 11:07 am #149447Is Open tuition not good enough. You can do it when you want and its free, is it necessary to be committed to going to courses on Sundays or evenings and pay large amounts of money what is it that you are getting in return. I have passed F1-F3 easily using just open tuition and feel confident using it for F4.
December 9, 2013 at 8:41 pm #151914open tuition doesn’t count because it isn’t a text book
