Basically the question that i am asking myself at the moment is,

Which is a better path to take when selecting papers to complete?

FA > FR > SBR (at the moment i feel like taking up FA)
    MA > PM > FM

    or

The acca suggested way where we go AB > MA > FA > LW …. > ATX

Which is a better way of going about learning the subject so as to retain as much knowledge as possible to hopefully compliment the future papers and the practical work in day to day accounting jobs ?

I strongly feel like i wanna take the first option but a part of me is anxious that i may be taking an unwise decision.

Please give me your thoughts and feedback on what you think about the question and how you would suggest handling the idea ?

    Thanks and kind regards.

The order suggested by the ACCA is best for two reasons.

One reason is that the exam regulations state that you have to complete FA, MA, and AB before you can continue with the later papers (and similarly, you have to complete all of the papers from LW to FM before you can continue with the final papers).

The other reason is that later papers often require some knowledge from other earlier papers. For example, Paper FM does require a little bit of tax knowledge from Paper TX.
