    Hello,

I had question on when to use SAF (Suitability, Acceptability and Feasibility) in the P3 exam. As within the practice and revision (P&R) kit, not all questions of evaluating strategies consist of SAF. The P&R kit states that to use the SAF model for evaluating strategies and assessing an acquisition target. I failed my previous sitting as I used a SAF model whilst I doubt I had to when evaluating strategies.

Is it the case that I should use it when it is explicitly asked for? Or does it depend on the number of marks on offer?

Your assistance in this matter will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks. Kind Regards.

    Abbas

You are unlikely to be explicitly requested to use it. Use it any time you can (ie there is information that fits) if you have to recommend strategies or evaluate strategies.
