In which year did you start your ACCA journey ?
what is the average number of years it takes to complete ACCA?
In fact I started in the year 2001, discontinued due to personal issues and re-registered in 2007, when new syllabus was introduced.
It depends, In my experience a full time senior level working individual, who has to appear for 11 papers at least, may take anything between 4 to 6 years to complete. On the other hand I think a full time student can complete it in 1.5 years to 3 years.
Taking my example as the first instance, although I re-registered in 2007 , I gave my first exam after re-registration in 2010. This means I completed 11 exams (last was on this June session assuming that I will pass the exam) in close to 4 years ( I appeared first exam after re-registration in Dec-2010). Had it not been a couple of fails on the way I would have completed ACCA in less than 3 years.
