    Hey everyone !

I am just getting read to start preparing f0r the F2 paper at home. I would like a little help on devising a good plan of study for this paper.

I can devote upto 2 hours of study per day 6 days a week (12 hours per week) and I am looking forward to complete the course and revision in just under 3 months. Do you think it’s a realistic goal?

Plus… should I follow the pattern of the chapters in the book or just work on individual chapters? which chapters do not require another chapter as a pre-requisite?

    @boookkeeper ,

F2 is a test paper, so what u need the most is to know as many formulas as possible and get used to the format of tests.

Plus F2 is easy and interesting 🙂

I don’t recommend u to study at any part of you want.

It’s better to studying step by step following ACCA syllabus and combining BPP and Kaplan , well and surely OT lectures and notes, they wil help you alot.

Work out all OT tests and F2 pilot paper not only once.

Pay attention to marginal and absorbtion costing and standard costing. Those are not easy topics.

It’s absolutely a must to work out all F2 examiner’s reports, because it will show u that the level of real exam questions which are usually a bit more difficult then questions from books and kit.
and even a question on a very easy topic might be really tricky.

    So practice, practice practice.
3 months revision is just too much …surely your plan wiill work.
However i think 1-2 months is enough for revision ,
even if you want to score 95 🙂
If you want to get an outstanding score, choose CBE ,

I passed PBE, but i didn’t aim to score too high , i simply feel more comfortable to keep paper in front of me, where i can start from any question i want and see all the questions from one glance 🙂

well , good luck with studies and don’t worry ..it’s not possible to fail this paper 🙂

I passed f2 with 67% after only 26 days of preparation.
The best tip for f2 is to “practice as more questions as possible.”
