hello everyone
could you please the topics which were tested in dec 2017 session for F8?
for sec B and sec C mainly ?
December 11, 2017 at 10:46 am #422514Question 16A: Describe and explain 8 audit risk and prove a suitable audit response. (16 marks)
Question 16 or 17: Hot and Cold review (I was completely stumped here I’ve never come across these before). (4 or 6 marks)
Question 18: A letter to management on the behalf of the external auditor regarding the significant deficiencies within an internal control system and provide recommendations for overcoming these deficiencies to management, marks being allocated for presentation. (20 marks)
That’s all I can remember.

so basically for 16 they asked for audit risk and 17 hot n cold review and 18 was ICSi hope march session wouldn’t be that hard
thank you so much
December 11, 2017 at 11:34 am #422524I think question 16 and 17 were both split into 4/5 question but I can’t actually remember them much as my time management was off and some of the questions I couldn’t attempt.
I think I only ended up attempting 70% of the exam so I’m not very confident in passing. I was hoping more areas of the syllabus would appear such as;
Audit framework and regulation,
Corporate governance,
External audits,
Professional ethics and ACCA’s Code of Ethics and Conduct,
Obtaining, accepting and continuing audit engagements,
Understanding the entity and its environment.I can’t actually remember any part B questions on these sections but I maybe wrong.

I am predicting ethics and corp gov might appear in the coming session.because the june session was disaster for me. I had issues with assertion.
so no questions from substantive procedures for dec 17 session ? - AuthorPosts
