Please could you help me. I know how professional reports look but, being under time constraints, is it possible to be this precise? Many thanks.
You do what you can in the time available.
Learn to spot where the marks are. They’re not there for a detailed and precise introductory / scope paragraph in a report on financial performance! But, having said that, there really ought to be some sort of introduction. So, no more than 2 lines max.
Get accustomed to the idea and, if it’s not too late!, practice it. Learn to spot where the marks are, and then target those marks
