could u give me an example of a calculation
It is simply interest receivable less interest payable on non trading loans
and how should we account for it
Interest payable on non trading loans is deducted from interest receivable to determine the interest income assessment for the company whereas interest payable on trading loans is a deduction in deriving trading income
