Hi
I wanted to know if you people can help me out with the statement “projecting audit sample errors to population”.
Not entirely sure (and I have been trying to work out what this means myself) …. but I think it means something like – if your sample size is say 100 invoices and you found errors in 20 of them (20% were wrong)……… if total population is 2000 invoices there is a possibility that 400 contain errors….. if I am not correct can someone please explain.
Thanks for the help.
