What is cheque req. form and when is it used?
Cheques need to be kept safely because they are used to transfer money to others. Therefore, if a cheque is needed, a requisition form will be created showing to whom the cheque is to be made out (payee) amount date needed by. This will usually be accompanied by documentation to prove that the amount is correct and the payment is proper. These documents will be sent to the person who keeps the cheques (eg chief accountant or finance director) who will use them as the basis for writing out the cheque.
