HI Tutors,
I have recently sat F7, F9 and P1 exams and successfuly passed F7 and P1 and missed F9 by 2 percent! Was disappointed as enjoy F9. Anyhow i am now stuck in a dilemma into which exams to do next,
I want to sit F9 again and have being advised to do P2 as passed F7 recently. As i have a total of 5 exams left, would like to do 3 at a time and then hopefully 2. So was thinkling maybe F9 , P2 and P3- know it will be tough but willing to put in more hours this time.
As i heard P2 is really though i am not sure if to do two now and leave P3 with my final two subjects.
I would like your opinion and advise on this as want to do 3 but not sure wheter do do with f9 and P2 as both tough exams and big syllabus.
Regards,
Gill.
August 13, 2014 at 6:34 am #189773Hi Gill,
I am sorry that you did not pass F9 – especially when you were so close, but congratulations on passing the other two.
Certainly you should retake F9 in December and hopefully you will pass without difficulty. P2 is a sensible choice, especially since as you say, you have passed F7 recently.
However, as you say, P2 is a tough exam. Although obviously everyone is different, most people seem to find it the hardest out of P1, P2 and P3.
At the same time, however, most people find P3 reasonable straight-forward (the main problem for some people is that it is all written, but since you passed P1, it would seem that you are able to cope well enough with written papers!)It really depends so much on how much time that you are able to spend studying. My feeling is that you should go for all three as you are suggesting, but do make sure that you do not ignore F9 too much 🙂 If you do find that it is proving too much, then be prepared to drop P3 (although I would hope that this will not prove to be the case).
If you do hit any problems with your studying (especially with F9) then do make use of our Ask the Tutor Forums. Obviously think properly about problems first, but rather than waste too much time on individual problems do ask us and we will do our best to help.

I will certainly not jeapordise F9 and P2, so if its too much will drop P3 without hesitating. I am still at thinking stage and just needed help really on making the decision.
I will contact you if i come across any difficulties in my F9 studies.
Many Thanks again.
Gill
