I am not sure I got the spelling right. Was not able to find any reference to this anywhere but find this very interesting.
I also always thought it meant versus but your lecture has thought me to know better. I am also not sure what this ampler sound looks like or what the correct symbol is.
For interest sake I would appreciate if you could give me this info.
