A company has a opening invntory of 300 units valued £25 per unit at the beginning of jan. the following receipts and sales were recorded during jan
    Date. 2 jan. 12 jan. 21 jan. 29 jan
    400on 12th jan
    Issues. 250. 200. 75

The purchase cost of receipt was £25.75 per unit. Using a weighted average method of valuation, calculate the value of closing inventory at the end of January .

In the answer they make this so complicated. I have watched the video on this topic but I m being confused in applying . I appreciate ur way of solving as its time saving and understandable too. Can u plz help me in solving this then I can get the point of how to calculate this type of question.
    Thank you sir.

I am sorry, but the way the question has appeared I cannot work out what was received and sold when.
