What is the weightage distribution of individual chapters in F3 paper. Meaning how many marks of questions are asked from each chapter, if there is any concept like that.

This is what is says in the approach to examining in the syllabus https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f3/studyguides/fa-ffa-sg-2018-19.:

“Section A will contain 35 two mark objective questions.
Section B will contain 2 fifteen mark multi-task questions. These will test consolidations and accounts preparation. The consolidation question could include a small amount of interpretation and the accounts preparation question could be set in the context of a
sole trader or a limited company.”

So apart from knowing what is in Section B, Section A can be drawn from any area of the syllabus. Also in an accounts preparation questions – there are lots of different adjustments that could be examined – depreciation, part exchange of an asset, inventory, allowance for trade receivables, accruals.

ACCA syllabuses do not have weightings.
