If in a question, it says ‘furnished’, do we assume that the taxpayer elected for wear and tear allowance or do we ignore it???
I encountered a question saying ‘he rent a room furnished’ and does not say anything more in relation to the furnished room.
If you see that the property is furnished then yes apply the wear and tear allowance.
