Videos taking very long to load

I am currently using Windows XP operating system with a firefox browser. This morning the videos were loading at their normal pace. When i try to start a video now, it takes a long time to start and the videos buffer very slowly. I tried loading the videos on my chrome browser as well but i ran into the same issue. I restarted my PC and my router and i have still faced the same problem. Do you have any recommendations on what has to be done?
