Hello!

In our p3 syllabus,the variances chapter mostly consists of the causes/reasons,etc. Does the syllabus have the practical part of calculating the variances for materials,labour,variable and fixed overheads?

Eg: for material price variance – difference of AQ*AP
AQ*SP

As far as we know, you will not be asked to calculate variances. But you could be asked to draw conclusions from or knterpret variances.
