plito paper;question 2b on mix variance.how did they got the figure in the mix variance.eg mixed vegetable 91712.2,butter 5095.2.stock112092.7.i can i simply no how to apportion them
On the standard cost card, each litre of soup needs 2.05 litres input (0.9 + 0.05 + 1.10)
The actual total input was 208900 litres, and so if it were mixed properly, the mixed vegetables would be 0.9 litres out of every 2.05 litres input. So it total they should have used 0.9 / 2.05 times 208900 = 91712.2
