    Dear Sir,
I am wondering if you could tell me that should i follow the way of using model answer of BBP KIT in exam question or should i follow text book of bbp or any other notes. Because the answers have been mentioned in kit its so long and describe so much so should i copy some important point and answer same as in exam question or should i follow text book and write with sub heading of each model . For example if i follow text book model of value chain secondary activities in procurement they mention all of the processes involved in acquiring the resource inputs to primary activities whereas in kit they ve mentioned so much .
    Please guide and suggest me
    thanks

In general, you won’t get marks for describing a model. Occasionally there is a question that requires you to explain a model, but that’s rare.

Most questions require you to apply a mode or models to the scenario. So, to use your example of the value chain, you have to look to see what you are told about it in the scenario. If the scenario tells you nothing about, say, human resource management, or service, then you really can’t say much about that in your answer.

Models exist simply to help you make sense of what’s going on; they are better than starting with a blank sheet. So, in PESTEL, if the scenario says nothing about ecological/environmental or about social influences, simply don’t mentions them. You could write your answer something like: “A PESTEL analysis shows that the political outlook is favourable as are economic forecasts. Technological developments mean that the company can make use of its internet technology. However, changes in the law mean that the company will have to be careful about safeguarding customer privacy.”
