Use of bullets in numbering Points

I am sitting F8 for the first time. I would like to know, is it advisable to use bullets to seperate points, especially for list and explain questions. I have used this approach sucessfully with other non- ACCA Auditing Courses to avoid waffling. I am not sure if this is acceptable with ACCA. Anyone help please.
