Dear all,
im trying to revise BCG matrix and im looking at question 4 of June 11. Please can someone explain how did they calculate the figures for Growth in sector, Market share and Relative market shares?
Is there any formula’s that i should be using for those calculation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
For example, cafes:
Growth 10 – 11: (3348 – 3072)/3072 = 9%
Growth 11 – 12: (3717 – 3348)/3348 = 11%
Market share = ENT’s share/total market size:
2010 = 34/3348 = 1%
2011 = 41/3717 = 1%
Thank you very much for your help Sir.
